I started this newsletter because I kept seeing the same pattern: talented salespeople with great products, solid training, and decent pipelines — who still couldn't close consistently. And when I dug deeper, the problem was almost never the product.

It was the person selling it.

Not in a harsh way. In a deeply human way. They hadn't figured out who they were as a salesperson. They were performing a version of sales they'd been taught — not one that fit their actual personality.

Here's what I know after 15+ years working with sales teams across North and South America: the most effective salespeople are not the most aggressive. They're the most authentic.

They've done the work to understand their natural strengths — whether that's deep empathy, sharp analysis, infectious energy, or quiet authority — and they've built their sales approach around those strengths instead of fighting against them.
